Bah, i must be getting old. I remember when games were creative. I can't think of an FPS (and I'm talking single player here) that has really impressed me since the original Deus Ex in terms of originality and creativity.

I don't think the game is all that creative or original but that doesn't stop it from being really great fun, it is thrilling and the spec-ops/online play is very unpredictable and exciting. For me, anyway. I can see what you're saying... But maybe you are just getting old!

Need, I have 3 GB RAM so that should be fine.

Well, from what I've been told it's the processor; but then again everyone has different opinions about hardware. Windows says it's 7.3, but again I don't know if can trust that. It's an ATi Radeon HD 4800. For all I know, it could also be a pile o' crap, but prior research said it was a pretty decent budget card. Budget could be the important word here, I fear.


If there are only a few cards above 3.0 ghz, does that mean they're not widely used or not many to choose from?

Hello, me again with yet another probably simple-to-answer query...

I have this E3500 dual core processor, running at 2.6 ghz (5.9 on the Windows perfomance index). Unfortunately, this is the part of the PC that is letting me down. I have a 1GB GPU which vastly out-performs the processor. I want to replace the processor for one with at least 3-4 ghz, so I can run MW2 nicely. I have yet to buy the game because I know that it will run pretty poorly with the current processor (correct me if I'm wrong, please!).

I have no idea how to go about this, or what is compatible with my motherboard, which is a 'Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L Intel G41 Motherboard'.

I always hated the 1996 Laguna because they stuck a giant piece of red on every corner of the car; totally ruining the beautiful blue and yellow. '95 was my favourite.

Great work on the '97 skin, it looks fantastic!

My flatmate has bought this game, and has a PS3 in the flat. So naturally I got to try it out last night until 3am. WHAT A BLAST! I mean seriously, the Spec Ops mode is just incredible fun. Especially the one where you're in the gas station fighting off waves of enemies, drones, MPVs and choppers. It's simply incredible. It's total chaos and you get so close to death so many times, and yet you pull through and have an overwhelming feeling of having actually achieved something.

Also, when one person controls the plane and the other person is on the ground... WOW, so cool! It's a shame it's so short but it really does require cooperation with your friend, otherwise you will end up dying; since the enemies appear to spawn differently every time!

I also played some offline split screen, which was really good fun. I like the way you now have to collect your killstreak power-ups; really balances the game out. Hopfully I'll be able to borrow his PSN account later and have a go at online. It looks like more of the same as CoD4, but with just enough changes to keep it fresh and exciting. So far, from the Multiplayer maps I've seen, the maps are very interesting and more varied than in CoD4. There are also many more maps.

I'm very excited about getting this game for myself. I almost want to buy it on PC, but I know I'll suck...

The main reasons why demo users get a bad reputation is down to the fact that they are new to the community, not due to the fact that they are demo racers. It just happens that the two things (being new and being demo) are linked unavoidably. Some new members to the community come up with ridiculous and inappropriate requests, which annoys everyone especially when the same things have been discussed over and over in the last 6 years.

Trust me when I say that there are as many, if not more, completely moronic licenced users.

EDIT: Oh and by the way, this has also been discussed over and over and over in the last 6 years
